The match started relatively evenly, with both teams working hard to open up opportunities for each other. Väderstads IK had several chances to score the first goal, but Ödeshögs IK's goalkeeper stood firm and saved several dangerous shots.
In the 42nd minute, Ödeshögs IK received a warning when Kacper Kalinowski was booked. Despite this, Ödeshögs IK continued to press on and eventually found success.
In the 56th minute, Max Tegnebo broke through and scored for Ödeshögs IK, giving the team a well-deserved lead. Väderstads IK tried to make a comeback, but Ödeshögs IK was in good form and maintained their defensive solidity.
