It was an outstanding evening at Rinkaby IP when Rinkaby GoIF hosted Edenryds IF in Division 6 Skåne Northeastern A. The crowd was not particularly large, with only 20 spectators in the stands, but those who were there definitely witnessed a goal fest. Referee Djevad Domazet started the match at 6:30 PM on Friday evening.
Already after one minute, the visiting Edenryds IF took the lead through Andreas Grönqvist. Simon Sjöblom then increased the score to 2-0 in the 19th minute, followed by goals from Hugo Krahner and Henrik Sörensen Larsson, who also completed a hat trick before halftime. The halftime score was an impressive 0-6 in favor of Edenryds IF.
In the second half, goals continued to pour in for Edenryds IF. Filip Nilsson, Simon Sjöblom, Mohammed Hadi, Hugo Johansson, Hampus Nilsson, and once again Filip Nilsson scored before the final whistle. The match concluded with a total domination from Edenryds IF and a final score of 0-16.
A less cheerful end to the match occurred when Andreas Grönqvist received a warning in the 90th minute, but Edenryds finished in style as Filip Nilsson netted his second goal of the evening, resulting in the final score of 0-16 for the visiting team.
An overwhelming victory for Edenryds IF and a difficult evening for Rinkaby GoIF, who will now have plenty to work on ahead of their upcoming matches.
