Venestad IF showed strength and dominance when they faced Linderöds IF at Kristianstad Arena artificial grass 1 on Friday evening. Although there were no spectators present, Venestad's players did everything to impress.
Already in the 13th minute, Venestad opened the scoring with Mahmoud Hamdan who elegantly slid the ball past Linderöds' goalkeeper to make it 0-1 for the away team. Just 12 minutes later, Hamdan increased the lead to 0-2 with a precise strike.
Before the halftime break, Venestad made it 0-3 through Hamdan, who completed his hat trick before halftime. Linderöds IF desperately tried to get back into the match but struggled to get past Venestad's defense.
In the 58th minute, Venestad extended their lead to 0-4 through Zilhad Zigovic, and it seemed like they had full control of the match. With only two minutes left of regular time, Linderöds IF managed to reduce the deficit through John Lahger, but it was too late to challenge Venestad's clear lead.
The match ended with yellow cards for both Zilhad Zigovic and Lauin Mustafa from Venestad IF, but this could not change the fact that Venestad IF won 1-4 against Linderöds IF. Venestad demonstrated their class and secured three important points to stay at the top of the table in Division 6 Skåne Nordöstra B.
