It was an exciting match between Degeberga GoIF and Ovesholms IF that took place at Degeberga IP A-plan in Division 6 Skåne Nordöstra B on Saturday afternoon. The attendance was 0, but unfortunately, those who weren't there missed an entertaining match where the visitors, Ovesholms IF, eventually won 5-3.
The match started with a bang as Degeberga GoIF scored a goal just 10 minutes in. Markus Johansson managed to break through the defense and smashed the ball into the net to the joy of the nonexistent crowd. However, the guests from Ovesholms IF showed their strength as Alexander Fröjd equalized in the 28th minute by sneaking the ball past Degeberga GoIF’s goalkeeper. Ovesholms IF would go on to score two more goals in the first half, through Erik Svenstam and David Winnberg, giving them a lead of 1-3 as the teams headed into halftime.
The second half was just as thrilling as the first. 65 minutes into the match, Alexander Fröjd scored his second goal, extending Ovesholms IF's lead to 1-4. But Degeberga GoIF wasn’t ready to give up and fought back with a goal from Dennis Gadd in the 80th minute. Degeberga GoIF continued to press and was rewarded with two goals in the final minutes from Teodor Bruce and Markus Johansson. Unfortunately for the home team, Ovesholms IF proved too strong, and Alexander Nilsson managed to score the decisive goal in injury time.
Referee Marcus Olsson had a calm match but still handed out three yellow cards: Alexander Fröjd for Ovesholms IF and Andreas Dahlbom along with Joel Ekström for Degeberga GoIF all found themselves in the book.
Despite Degeberga GoIF's attempts to come back in the match, it was the guests, Ovesholms IF, who scored the most goals and won the match 5-3. With this victory, Ovesholms IF remains unbeaten and leads the table, while Degeberga GoIF stays in 5th place. An exciting match with many goals and a well-deserved victory for Ovesholms IF.
