In an intense match between Linderöds IF and Vilan BoIS at Linderöds IP A-plan, we witnessed a fierce battle for points. Despite the absence of spectators due to the early start time on Friday evening, it was an entertaining affair.
Vilan BoIS started the match strongly and took the lead just before halftime with a fine solo effort from Emil Ashoor, who fired the ball into the net with a decisive shot. However, Linderöds IF did not give up and fought their way back into the game.
In the second half, Robert Jönsson managed to equalize for Linderöds IF with a well-placed header in the penalty area. The play swung back and forth, but it was Linderöds IF that ultimately came out on top.
Sebastian Strömberg became the match hero when he scored to make it 2-1 for Linderöds IF after a nice combination. Martin Persson then sealed the final result at 3-1 with a well-placed shot into the upper corner.
