On Saturday afternoon, October 7, 2023, the final match in Division 6 Skåne Nordöstra B was held between Wä IF and Everöds IF at Wä IP A-plan. In front of an audience of 300 people and under the guidance of referee Migel Broy, assisted by Essam Mohammad Abd Alhadi and Qahraman Bashar, the two teams played an exciting match.

Wä IF led the league before the match and had the chance to win the league if they could secure a victory. Everöds IF was hoping for a win to conclude the season on a high note.

Everöds IF started the match strongly and took the lead in the 3rd minute through Andre Haidar. Wä IF fought to equalize and succeeded in the 18th minute with a goal from Alfred Persson.

Both teams played aggressively, resulting in several warnings, three for Everöds IF and one for Wä IF.

In the 73rd minute, Elliot Golderyd scored for Wä IF, giving them a 2-1 lead. Filip Nilsson from Wä IF received a warning in the 76th minute, but it did not deter the team, which continued to fight.

In the 83rd minute, Alfred Persson scored his second goal of the day, and Wä IF extended their lead to 3-1. The match ended with a victory for Wä IF, which meant they won the league. Everöds IF finished in fourth place in the standings.

It was an exciting match with hard play from both teams, showcasing a lot of fighting spirit and commitment in the last match of the season.
