Today, Treby IF faced off against Vittsjö GIK in a heated match on the Lindvallen B-plan artificial turf. Despite no spectators being allowed due to the pandemic, the players were pumped and focused on giving their best.

Referee Rebaz Omed Nader kicked off the match at 2:00 PM on Friday afternoon. After a balanced start with chances for both sides, it was Treby IF that took the lead in the 27th minute through number 13 Muamer Redzovic. Vittsjö GIK attempted to equalize but struggled to break through Treby’s defense.

When the halftime whistle blew, the score remained 1-0 in favor of Treby IF. However, in the second half, Vittsjö GIK took control of the game and created several dangerous opportunities. In the 57th minute, they finally scored a goal through number 9 Abdullah Tawfeeq Taha, bringing the score to 1-1.

Nevertheless, the players from Treby were not satisfied with a draw. In the 67th minute, an unknown player struck and made it 2-1 for Treby IF. Vittsjö GIK desperately tried to equalize but could not penetrate Treby’s strong defense.

The match thus ended with a victory for Treby IF, 2-1. Despite a strong effort from Vittsjö GIK, the team could not achieve a complete turnaround. Therefore, Treby IF can celebrate an important win.
