On a sunny Friday evening, Liga 06 IF faced Rörums SK at Löderups IP A-plan in front of an empty stand due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Referee Viktor Olsson blew the whistle to start the match, and we saw intense and physical play from both teams right from the start. However, it was Liga 06 IF that took the lead after just six minutes through Felix Lundberg. But Rörums SK quickly responded, equalizing to 1-1 through Oliver Brink just two minutes later.
After 12 minutes, it was time again as Liga 06 IF regained the lead with a goal from Gunnar Ångman. After that, the match remained evenly matched with chances for both sides but no further goals in the first half.
In the second half, however, it became a goal fest for Liga 06 IF. Isak Rönnholm Håkansson scored both the 3-1 and 5-1 goals, while Gunnar Ångman added his second goal of the evening, and Bastian Andersson capped off the match with a score of 6-1.
Rörums SK struggled to keep pace with the home team, and despite fighting hard, they could not reduce the deficit in the remaining minutes of the match.
The match ended with a confident victory for Liga 06 IF, which now solidifies its third place in the table. Rörums SK, on the other hand, remains in sixth place.
