It was a sunny Sunday afternoon when Lunds FF and Holmeja IS faced off at Smörlyckans IP in front of an unfortunately empty stand. Referee Bekim Sazlija blew the whistle to start the match, and it didn’t take long before the goals started to come in.
Already in the 5th minute, Lunds FF took the lead through William Åkesson. The team continued to dominate, and in the 27th minute, Erik Carlson extended the lead to 2-0. Anton Jonsson then displayed his scoring ability with two goals in quick succession, and before halftime, Emil Medin and Anton Jonsson found the net for Lunds FF again, making the score a commanding 5-0.
In the second half, the goals kept coming for Lunds FF. Anton Jonsson completed his hat trick, while Darius Brenner and William Åkesson also added to the scoreline. Holmeja IS managed to reduce the deficit through Mattias Skog, but it wasn’t enough to threaten Lunds FF, who ultimately won by a significant margin of 10-1.
William Åkesson completed his hat trick just before the final whistle, thereby securing a convincing victory for Lunds FF. An impressive performance from the team that showcased effective and goal-hungry play at home.
