On this evening at Göteryds IP, there was a real goal fest as Göteryds BK faced Hallaryds IF in Division 6 Småland Älmhult for men. There was initially a nervous atmosphere among the 65 spectators who had made their way to the arena, but it didn’t take long for Hallaryds IF to apply pressure on the home team.
Just 20 minutes into the match, Lucas Johansson scored the first goal for the visitors and then went on to net two more in the next ten minutes, completing his hat trick by halftime. Before the break, Vilgot Skoog added another goal for Hallaryds IF, while Magnus Mackenhauer Olsen scored a consolation goal for Göteryds BK.
In the second half, Göteryds BK found new energy, and Adam Lindkvist managed to score in the 50th minute, reducing the deficit to three goals. However, Hallaryds IF kept their heads up and responded with three more goals, two from Niclas Hultman and one from Fabian Andersson, who, together with Lucas Johansson, displayed an impressive offensive performance throughout the evening.
Göteryds BK found some consolation as Albin Elf managed to reduce the score in the 73rd minute, but it was Hallaryds IF who took home the victory with a total of ten goals. In the dying moments of the match, Niclas Hultman even scored his second goal of the night, thus completing his own hat trick.
The match was well officiated by referee Daniel Feric, but it was Hallaryds IF who secured the win with a convincing performance ending 3-10.
