Älmhult United FF showed no mercy against Lidhults GOIF when they met at Lomövallen in Division 6 Småland Älmhult, men. Already in the 28th minute, Älmhult opened the scoring through Simon Tesfagabbir Aregay. Just a few minutes later, Abdulrahim Alebbo doubled the lead to 0-2 before Cesar Bashar scored two quick goals before the halftime break, allowing Älmhult to go into halftime with a 4-0 lead.
In the second half, Älmhult continued to dominate and Mishaal Mohsen increased the score to 0-5 early on. Daniel Tesfamariam Teklesenbet and Naël de Mol then extended the lead to 0-8 before Lidhult's Anton Bokelund managed to reduce it to 1-8. Älmhult then ended the match in style with yet another goal from Amel Husic, which set the final score at 1-9 in favor of Älmhult United FF.
With only 36 spectators in the stands and referee Haris Sljivo overseeing the match, Älmhult could head home with a big victory and three points in the bag. Lidhults GOIF, on the other hand, had to accept defeat and will take lessons into their upcoming matches.
