It was a truly exciting match at Widavallen when Vissefjärda GIF faced Tvärskogs IF in Division 6 Småland Nybro for men. Already in the eighth minute, the away team took the lead through Melvin Wirsén, and it would take until the 34th minute before Vissefjärda GIF could reduce the deficit through Samuel Häggbring. However, Tvärskogs IF managed to score another goal before half-time, again through Wirsén.

But Vissefjärda GIF was not going to give up. With only minutes left in the first half, Simon Welander scored the equalizer for the home team, and in the second half, there was a fierce battle for victory. In the end, it was Häggbring who led the way for Vissefjärda GIF, scoring the decisive goal in the 68th minute.

Vissefjärda GIF then held on, despite Tvärskogs IF pushing forward in an attempt to equalize. The away team received two yellow cards towards the end of the match, and Vissefjärda GIF also received one, but it didn’t matter. The victory was a clear 3-2 for the home team. An audience of 125 people present at Widavallen truly got their money's worth. Referee Bo Gustavsson had an excellent performance on the field.
