Urshults IF excelled at home against Konga SK in the Division 6 Småland Växjö league on Thursday evening. Trojavallen 1 in Ryd was filled to capacity with 250 spectators eagerly awaiting the starting whistle from Leif Kraus.

The match started off with great pace, and just six minutes in, the crowd erupted as Isak Linder from Urshults IF scored a fantastic goal. Konga SK tried to bounce back, but it was Urshults IF that had the ball and controlled the game. In the 32nd minute, Daniel Kajs stepped up and scored a beautiful second goal for Urshults IF.

Konga SK received a warning when Christopher Plikas was caught for an offense on the field at the end of the first half. Immediately after the break, Urshults IF’s Mattis Risberg was cautioned for an illegal tackle.

Konga SK continued to fight to catch up, but it was Urshults IF that dominated. Felix Rundqvist from Konga SK received a warning in the 60th minute, and the team's coach, Henrik Morin, was also cautioned ten minutes later.

With only three minutes left in the match, Patrik Haugaard Pedersen from Urshults IF scored the third and final goal of the evening, which sent the crowd into an ear-splitting cheer. Mattis Risberg received a warning in connection with the goal and was also sent off after picking up a second caution.

Urshults IF were deserving winners of the match, and Konga SK can only agree that their opponents played very good football. It was a fantastic match that gave all the spectators the value for their money and the excitement they had hoped for.
