This match had all the prerequisites to be an exciting event, but it was Wexiö FK that would dominate from start to finish. Just 18 minutes in, Carl Olofsson struck and made it 0-1 for the away team. Only four minutes later, Samuel Ledel Hultgren threw himself into the box and increased Wexiö’s lead to 0-2.

It would only take two more minutes before Samuel Ledel Hultgren scored another goal, completing a hat trick with 0-3. FC Iliria Växjö seemed completely shocked and struggled to get into the match. Wexiö continued to apply pressure, and when the clock showed 28 minutes, Samuel Ledel Hultgren had scored his fourth goal and Wexiö’s fourth.

Albert Svensson Kanstedt then scored with an assist from Carl Olofsson, giving Wexiö a 0-5 lead after just over half an hour. Carl Olofsson then scored his second of the match, making it Wexiö’s sixth goal of the day.

After the halftime break, FC Iliria Växjö came out with more focus, and Mihai-Marian Voda scored for the home team, reducing the score to 1-6. But it wouldn't be long before Wexiö increased their lead again; Albert Svensson Kanstedt made it 1-7, and Samuel Ledel Hultgren scored his fifth of the day, Wexiö’s eighth.

With just over ten minutes left in the match, Albert Svensson Kanstedt scored his second of the match, bringing Wexiö’s total to nine. Jacob Ravelli received a warning for a hard tackle, but that was merely a side note in an otherwise smooth match for referee Ali Ramadani.

With only minutes left in the match, Frank Blomstedt Vilhelmsson managed to score Wexiö’s tenth goal of the day. In stoppage time, Wexiö FK was awarded a penalty, which Kasper Linnér easily converted, increasing Wexiö’s lead to 1-11.

At the final whistle, it was clear that it had been a real rout for Wexiö FK and a nightmare for FC Iliria Växjö. The season was thus concluded, with FC Iliria Växjö finishing second to last in the table, while Wexiö FK secured a well-deserved third place.
