On Saturday afternoon, IK Standard and BK Sport faced off at Hållsta IP in an exciting Division 6 match. With only 50 people in the stands, the beginning was quite calm, but that was soon to change.
After 20 minutes, BK Sport took the lead with 1-0, as Martin Arrebäck scored the goal. Just ten minutes later, Hannes Isaksson extended the lead to 2-0 for the away team. Before the halftime break, BK Sport managed to score two more goals, one of which was also by Martin Arrebäck.
IK Standard started the second half down 0-4 and desperately tried to turn the match around. Unfortunately for them, it was BK Sport that continued to dominate, and after an hour, Elliot Stråle increased the lead to 5-0 for the away team.
A couple of minutes later, Isac Huhta from IK Standard received his second yellow card, resulting in his dismissal. Just four minutes after that, Anton Jedar scored the sixth goal for BK Sport.
With only twelve minutes left in the match, Per Gustav Olofsson managed to score yet another goal for the visitors, who already had a massive lead. But they were not finished yet. With just five minutes remaining, Elliot Stråle scored his second goal of the match, setting the final score at 8-0 for BK Sport.
Referee Marios Troka was pleased with how the match went, and assistant referees Isse Ahmed Ali and Martin Bonny helped keep track of everything. However, it was a tough loss for IK Standard, and they hope for better luck next time.
