It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Vaxö IP 1 when IFK Vaxholm faced Rydbo IF in an exciting match in Division 6 Stockholm A. With an audience of 60 people and Hazim Kargic as the referee, it was time for kickoff.
Already in the sixth minute, IFK Vaxholm had a chance to take the lead when Rydbo IF’s Norman John Robert Francisco received a warning, and Carl Jaginder was awarded a penalty. Unfortunately, he missed the penalty.
However, IFK Vaxholm continued to fight, and in the 28th minute, the first goal came when Erik Oscarsson found the back of the net, giving IFK Vaxholm a 1-0 lead. Just three minutes later, Kosmas Nikopoulos Köllerström extended the lead to 2-0.
Just before the halftime break, IFK Vaxholm received a warning when Filip Andreasson broke the rules. Rydbo IF had a chance to reduce the score with just one minute left in the first half when Johan Gardner Sundström was awarded a penalty, which he converted to make it 2-1.
In the second half, however, IFK Vaxholm continued to dominate the match. In the 45th minute, Kosmas Nikopoulos Köllerström extended the lead to 3-1. Rydbo IF’s chances of coming back into the match diminished when Elton Junior Silva Martins received a warning in the 63rd minute.
The match remained action-packed as both teams fought hard, but IFK Vaxholm emerged victorious when Kosmas Nikopoulos Köllerström scored his second penalty in the 86th minute, leading his team to a convincing 4-1 victory.
Unfortunately for Rydbo IF, their coach Fredrik Martis was sent off after receiving two warnings in the 63rd minute. It was an impressive victory for IFK Vaxholm, which now sits in 6th place in the table, while Rydbo IF is in 5th place.
