Åkeshovs IoFK secured a convincing victory when they faced Ekerö IK at home in a Division 6 Stockholm B match for men. With a final score of 4-2, it was clear that the home team dominated the match.

Just three minutes into the game, Ekerö IK's Abdoulatif Youssoufa received a yellow card, followed by a warning for Åkeshovs IoFK's Ocke Sandgren three minutes later. However, in the 18th minute, Åkeshovs' Julius Broman scored the first goal of the match, putting the home team ahead 1-0.

However, Åkeshovs IoFK did not allow Ekerö IK to get any closer and instead, Sandgren scored his second goal of the match, increasing the lead to 4-1 in the 80th minute. Ekerö IK managed one final goal through Eddie Mikkola Casserblad in the last minute of the match, but it was too late to turn the game around.

The match, which took place on a Wednesday evening on May 24, 2023, attracted only 11 spectators at Åkeshovs BP 1. Referee Ahmet Ünver officiated the match without any major issues, and Åkeshovs IoFK could proudly showcase their large victory.
