Dardania Stockholm FF continued their impressive season as they faced Rönninge/Salem Fotboll at Berga IP 1. The match was even at the beginning, but Dardania scored the first goal when Florenc Alla found the net with a nice shot in the seventh minute.
Rönninge/Salem Fotboll tried to respond but were shown a warning instead when Tanarat Mejergren received a yellow card. Shortly after, Dardania also received a warning when Daniel Abazi fouled an opponent in the penalty area.
In the 38th minute, Rönninge/Salem Fotboll finally managed to score a goal when Wilmer Forsman Ekman made a pass behind Dardania’s defense. Just before halftime, Dardania equalized when Arkile Marko took advantage of a tight defense to find the net.
The second half continued in a similar fashion, with both teams trying to take the lead. Both teams also received several warnings, including a red card for Rönninge/Salem Fotboll's Henok Haile. Unfortunately for Rönninge/Salem Fotboll, Dardania was able to take advantage of the situation and scored two more goals. First, Marko netted his second goal of the match, and then Senad Colic scored in the 88th minute.
When the final whistle blew, Dardania emerged victorious with a 3-1 win. It was a shame that the number of spectators was limited due to COVID-19 restrictions, as it would have been great to see more fans experience such an exciting match. Referee Amer Moustafa did a good job on the field managing the intense rivalry between these teams.
