Alsike IF played a fantastic match at home on Alsike Artificial Turf against Frösunda SK in Division 6 Uppland Södra. The team opened strongly and took the lead after just 16 minutes through Lorik Drenica, who scored with an impressive shot. After another four minutes, Gustav Lundin extended the lead to 2-0.

Frösunda SK tried to push forward and managed to reduce the score to 2-1 after a nice assist from Alfred Sigemo, which Benjamin Elmgren converted into a goal. But Alsike IF responded immediately, and Gustav Lundin scored his second goal of the day.

Alsike IF continued to dominate the match, with Arvid Gauffin scoring two goals within four minutes, which meant a 5-1 lead for the home team at halftime.

In the second half, Gustav Lundin also completed his hat trick before Frösunda SK scored again following a good individual effort from Benjamin Elmgren. But it was Alsike IF’s night, and Herman Hellberg scored a beautiful long-range goal before Benjamin Elmgren reduced the score to the final result of 7-3 for the guests.

Overall, it was a really entertaining football match with high tempo and plenty of scoring chances. Alsike IF was definitely the better team and celebrated an important home victory in front of their home crowd.
