Danmarks IF brought home a truly exciting match at Midgårdsvallen Artificial Turf as they defeated Märsta IK 2 with a score of 2-5 in Division 6 Uppland Södra. The match started evenly, but it was Danmarks IF that took the lead in the 32nd minute when Harun Hashi found the net and made it 0-1. However, Danmarks IF received a warning in the 45th minute when Eguakhide Solomon Jnr Ojeaga was shown a yellow card.
Märsta IK 2, however, would not give up and fought hard, managing to equalize just before halftime when Patricio Gonzalez Jara scored to make it 1-1 in the 45th minute. Immediately after the break, Märsta IK 2 took the lead when Patricio Gonzalez Jara scored his second goal of the match, making it 2-1 in the 48th minute.
Danmarks IF, however, would not give up so easily and equalized quickly in the 52nd minute when Harun Hashi scored his second goal of the match. In the 54th minute, Mohamed Mari made a header to put Danmarks IF ahead at 2-3. Märsta IK 2 received two warnings during the match, issued to Makiese Meschac Nzayadio and Carlos Camilo Cortés Carrasco.
In the 80th minute, Danmarks IF received a warning as well, when Yaqub Hashi was shown a yellow card. But in the 81st minute, Maltin Jakupi scored to make it 2-4, and just a minute later, Yaqub Hashi added another goal, sealing the score at 2-5 for Danmarks IF. The final result was thus 2-5 in favor of Danmarks IF, who showcased a strong fighting spirit throughout the match. The referee for the evening was Bjarne Kahler, and the attendance was 46 spectators.
