It was a delightful football evening at Åvallen Artificial Turf when Örsundsbro IF faced ISUN in Division 6 Uppland West. In front of an audience of 53 people and under the leadership of referee Hijas Husein Mohamud, we witnessed an exciting match between two teams that both had a chance to take three points that evening.
The match kicked off at 19:30, and both teams went hard from the start. But it was Örsundsbro IF that scored the first goal after 21 minutes of play. Number 12, Axel Vikman, kept his cool and sent the ball behind ISUN's goalkeeper. The home team took the lead 1-0, and the match continued with a high tempo and plenty of tackles.
In the second half, it was clear that both teams wanted the points, and the game remained intense. But once again, it was Örsundsbro IF that found the net, this time through Johannes Hagman in the 54th minute. His nice finish made the net ripple as the home team took a 2-0 lead.
ISUN desperately tried to make a comeback, but this would not succeed, and instead, they received two yellow cards, first Andreas Aretakis in the 57th minute and then Niklas D'Arcy in the 73rd minute. Örsundsbro IF also received a warning in the final minutes, as Samuel Thorsell suffered a tough tackle.
The final result was 2-0, a well-deserved victory for Örsundsbro IF, who played strongly at home. When the match was over, the home supporters celebrated while ISUN had to go home empty-handed. We thank both teams for a lovely match!
