On Friday evening, Råda IK hosted IFK Skoghall U at Råda IP in an exciting match in Division 6 Värmland Nordöstra, men's category. Despite the empty stands, the teams delivered good football and plenty of goal-scoring opportunities.
Already after 20 minutes, the visitors from Skoghall took the lead with a fine performance by Jonatan Björnfot, who put the ball in the net. Just four minutes later, Skoghall received a penalty, which Mårten Leandersson converted to double the lead to 0-2. Ahmad Tariq Temori struck with a beautiful shot in the 26th minute, giving the visitors a commanding 0-3 lead.
Råda tried to push forward and managed to reduce the score with Najibullah Askari’s goal in the 28th minute. A glimmer of hope sparked for the home team, but Skoghall’s defense was strong and hard to break through. However, Råda was awarded a penalty at the beginning of the second half, which Albin Åslund converted, making the match exciting again with a score of 2-3.
It was a tough match with several yellow cards issued by referee Reys Douba, for both the home and away teams. IFK Skoghall U demonstrated their strong team spirit and resilience and were able to find the net once again through Tariq Temori's second goal of the evening, which ultimately sealed the match for the home team.
