On Saturday afternoon at Myrborgen, it was time for an exciting match in Division 6 Värmland Norra between Lysviks IF and IFK Edebäck-Uddeholm. Despite the absence of spectators, the action was intense from the start.
Just eight minutes in, IFK Edebäck-Uddeholm took the lead through Martin Koning, but Lysviks IF responded quickly, with Nils West equalizing just three minutes later. Jonatan Hedström then gave Lysviks IF the lead in the 26th minute.
Olle Persson extended the lead to 3-1 with a beautiful free-kick goal in the 35th minute, before Martin Koning reduced the deficit for IFK Edebäck-Uddeholm with a penalty in the 42nd minute. However, Jonatan Hedström added another corner just before halftime, giving Lysviks IF a 4-2 lead.
In the second half, Lysviks IF continued to dominate, with Nils West scoring his second goal of the day in the 76th minute, which also turned out to be the last goal of the match.
The match concluded with cautions issued to both Lysviks IF’s coach Per-Erik Syversen and Martin Koning from IFK Edebäck-Uddeholm, but this did not affect the outcome.
When referee Muneer Akil blew the final whistle, it was clear that Lysviks IF had secured a convincing 5-2 victory and could celebrate three points in Division 6 Värmland Norra.
