A packed Edebäcksvallen witnessed a goal-filled match between the home team IFK Edebäck-Uddeholm and the visiting Gettjärns IF in Division 6 Värmland Norra. Despite the fact that no spectators were allowed due to the pandemic, the teams delivered an entertaining football match.
IFK Edebäck-Uddeholm started the match better and took the lead in the seventh minute when Lukas Hillensjö found the net. However, Gettjärns IF quickly responded as Neo Jonsén equalized in the 22nd minute to make it 1-1.
But it was the home team that continued to control the match, and in the 30th minute, Bedri Istrefi made it 2-1 with a fine pass from David Andersson.
In the second half, things got dramatic when Axel Lauridsen of Gettjärns IF received his second yellow card and was sent off in the 50th minute. However, Johan Utter was able to equalize for the visitors from the penalty spot in the 60th minute.
But the home team had other plans, and just five minutes after the equalizer, Miguel Palmqvist headed in to make it 3-2. After that, it was only one team on the pitch as the home team began to score goals in rapid succession.
Lukas Hillensjö scored his second goal of the day in the 77th minute, and five minutes later, it was Istrefi's turn to net his second goal for the day. David Andersson rounded off the goal fest in the 88th minute by making it 6-2.
When the referee blew the final whistle, the home crowd celebrated a sweet victory and three important points for IFK Edebäck-Uddeholm, while Gettjärns IF slipped further down the table and continued to struggle in Division 6.
