Bråtenvallen was empty when Bråtens IK hosted Alkvetterns IK in Division 6 Värmland Östra on Friday evening. Referee Robin Tran blew the whistle to start the match, and both teams played intensely from the very first minute. However, it was Alkvetterns IK who first found the back of the net when Tim Svensson converted a penalty perfectly, sending the ball past Bråtens goalkeeper. The halftime score remained until the halftime break.
In the second half, the teams continued to fight for victory, and it was Bråtens IK who managed to equalize when Halit Yildirim delivered a fine pass behind Alkvettern’s defense and placed the ball into the net. After the goal, Bråten continued to push for a leading goal, but Alkvetterns IK managed to hold firm. The match became tough at times, and both teams received a warning.
Despite several hot scoring chances for both teams, the score remained 1-1 when referee Robin Tran blew the final whistle. Bråtens IK and Alkvetterns IK shared the points after a well-played match from both sides. Next weekend, Bråtens IK will face Kils AIK away, while Alkvetterns IK will play at home against Kungälvs BK.
