It was a wonderful football evening as IFK Ås welcomed Svanskogs IF at home on Åsvallen in Division 6 Värmland Västra. The crowd, made up of 80 people, was fired up and expectations were high for the match.

Referee Mats Andersson blew the whistle to start the match precisely at 19:00, and it didn’t take long for IFK Ås to take the lead. Just two minutes into the game, Ola Erlandsson put the first ball in the net, and the stadium erupted in cheer.

Svanskogs IF tried to find their way back into the match but struggled to put pressure on IFK Ås's defense. Instead, it was IFK Ås that extended their lead in the 23rd minute through Emil Henriksson.

Just before the halftime break, Svanskogs IF got a glimmer of hope when Jacob Wolfbrandt reduced the score to 2-1, adding some excitement for the second half.

However, it didn’t take long for IFK Ås to once again extend their lead. Joakim Sundgren put the ball behind the Svanskogs IF goalkeeper in the 49th minute, and IFK Ås had a two-goal lead again.

Svanskogs IF desperately tried to find their way back into the match and received a warning in the 60th minute when Mattias Lindgren picked up a yellow card. But this didn’t yield any immediate results for Svanskogs IF.

Instead, it was Svanskogs IF that reduced the deficit again when Jacob Wolfbrandt scored his second goal of the evening. But with just over ten minutes left in the match, Elias Gustavsson scored a goal for IFK Ås, and then another five minutes later, finalizing the score at 5-2.

The match was over, and IFK Ås could celebrate their third victory in as many matches in Division 6 Värmland Västra. On the other hand, Svanskogs IF had to head home with disappointment but also a bit of hope for their next match.
