Mangvalla was filled to capacity with dedicated supporters when Mangskogs SK and Svanskogs IF clashed in one of the most anticipated matches of Division 6 Värmland Västra for the 2023 season. In front of an audience of 41 people, many of whom had traveled hours to be there, it was Svanskogs IF who first found the net.
In the eighth minute, Sebastian Dahlberg fired a powerful shot, giving the away team a 1-0 lead. But the home team would not be defeated so easily. Just three minutes later, Abid Salehi produced a fantastic finish, equalizing to 1-1 for Mangskogs SK. After the break, the home team increased the tempo and dominated play. In the 46th minute, Elias Gustafsson found the net with a hard shot, putting Mangskogs SK ahead 2-1.
However, Svanskogs IF was not willing to give up and retaliated with a free kick from Sebastian Dahlberg that went straight into the goal. The match was once again level at 2-2.
With just under fifteen minutes left in the match, Axel Hellman seized an opportunity in a well-placed position and shot a brilliant ball past the Svanskogs IF goalkeeper, securing the victory for Mangskogs SK with the decisive goal of 3-2.
The match was not without controversy. When Marcus Olsson from Mangskogs SK received a yellow card early in the second half, it seemed as though the match would become tense. But after that, Mangskogs SK shone and managed to win thanks to their strong defensive play. Henrik Wiman Eriksson also received a yellow card in the 76th minute, but it did not help Svanskogs IF.
Overall, the two teams faced off in a hard-fought match that had everything - drama, goals, send-offs, and crucial points. In the end, it was Mangskogs SK who came out on top, managing to beat Svanskogs IF with a score of 3-2.
