Mellby IK started the match strong and dominated from the first minute. Just three minutes in, they took the lead with a fine strike from Lucas Olsson. Only eight minutes later, they extended their lead through Oscar Hendén, and then Lukas Fabiansson scored the third goal for Mellby IK.
Rackeby IK tried to fight their way back into the match, but Mellby IK maintained a stable defense and prevented them from creating dangerous scoring chances. In the 61st minute, Linus Dahlberg increased Mellby IK's lead to 4-0.
Rackeby IK didn't back down and reduced the score with a goal from William Backstad in the 66th minute. But Mellby IK quickly responded, with Aron Gustafsson scoring the fifth goal for his team in the 68th minute.
The match ended 5-1 in favor of Mellby IK, who delivered an impressive performance and took home three points from Degeberg IP A-plan. Rackeby IK will now have to regroup for their next match in an effort to get back on the winning track.
