Idrottsparken was ready to host Sandhems IF and Våmbs IF as they faced off in Division 6 Västergötland on this Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately for both teams, there was no audience present, but that did not stop the players from giving their all on the field. The referee for the day was Daniel Svensson, and the match started, as usual, with a kickoff.
Already in the sixth minute, the away team Våmbs IF found an opening. An unfortunate situation led to an own goal, giving them a 0-1 lead. However, Sandhems IF did not let that discourage them and worked hard to equalize. In the 35th minute, Alexander Henningsson stepped up and scored from a free kick, giving the home team a much-anticipated equalizer, 1-1.
The goals continued to come, and just before halftime, Våmbs IF scored their second goal when Muhamed Ribo netted with a header, making it 1-2 for the away team. But Sandhems IF was not far behind, and Alexander Henningsson, who had already scored from a free kick earlier, netted his second goal of the day, leveling the score again at 2-2.
The second half saw a lot of action. In the 59th minute, Sula Muisi from the away team received a yellow card, and just after that, Benjamin Parlic was sent off. Sandhems IF took advantage of the opportunity, and Fredrik Andersson received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Sebastian Sjögren converted a penalty, giving the home team a 3-2 lead. But Våmbs IF continued to fight and scored their third goal from another penalty in the 71st minute, as Aman Daniel found the net and equalized for the away team, 3-3.
Våmbs IF tried to keep pressing Sandhems IF, and in the 73rd minute, Oliver Danielsson received a yellow card. However, despite several attempts, neither team was able to score again, and the match ended in a draw at 3-3. Sandhems IF remains in fifth place in the table while Våmbs IF sits in second place. It was an exciting match with many goals and hard-fought battles on the field.
