Månstad and Dannike faced off in Division 6 Västergötland Ulricehamn on a sunny Saturday afternoon at Idrottsparken. 35 spectators had made their way to the main field to watch the match. Referee Vesa Myllylä kicked off the game, and soon enough, action was in the air.
After just five minutes, it was Månstad who took the lead through Einar Darén. The home team had a lively start, which would show again later in the match.
However, Dannike fought hard and tried to find gaps in Månstad's defense. Nothing really stuck, and instead, Månstad's Marcus Magnusson doubled the lead to 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. The goal was a header, and the home crowd cheered.
Dannike didn't give up and continued to search for a way back into the game. It wasn't until the 79th minute that Jesper Ölander Enbuske finally found the net and made it 2-1. The Dannike fans were energized by the goal and hoped for an equalizer.
But that wouldn't happen. Instead, a couple of yellow cards were handed out, the first to Dannike's Melker Andersson and then a double warning to Månstad's Rikard Bonander. Bonander received a red card, and Månstad had to continue the match without him.
The match ended 2-1 in favor of Månstad, who thus took three important points. Dannike fought hard but unfortunately were not precise enough to earn any points today.
