A nightmare start for Skärhamns IK Youth Team as they faced Ellenö IK Development Team at Tjörn Sparbank Arena. Just 10 minutes in, Ellenö was awarded a penalty which Melker Ivarsson coolly converted past the home team's goalkeeper. Skärhamn also received the first yellow card when Filip Hansson was cautioned in the 12th minute.
But it was only going to get worse for Skärhamn. Kreshnik Bytyqi opened the scoring for Ellenö in the 17th minute, and then he struck three more times, totaling four goals in the first half. Not only that, Joel Svanbo-Pettersson joined in with two goals in two minutes, completing a hat trick for Ellenö as well.
Skärhamns IK Youth Team fought hard but struggled to find any teamwork on the pitch. Ellenö continued to dominate, scoring two more goals through Jonas Plate and Mahmoud Hamed, before Daniel Alizade scored directly from a corner in the 88th minute.
The match ultimately ended 1-11 in favor of Ellenö IK Development Team, a clear and decisive victory. Skärhamns IK Youth Team will have to go back to the drawing board and try to learn from this encounter before their upcoming matches.
