Sunday evening's football match at Svalåsvallen offered exciting moments as Skredsvik/Hogstorp Team 2 faced off against Lysekils AIK Team 2. Although neither team had a chance to take the lead in the league, the match was intense.
It was Skredsvik/Hogstorp Team 2 who started the strongest, and just eight minutes into the game, Mattias Jednäs scored the first goal in front of a crowd of 33. Lysekils AIK Team 2 responded with several dangerous scoring chances but failed to find the back of the net. Martin Johansson from Skredsvik/Hogstorp Team 2 received the first yellow card of the match for an unfair tackle attempt.
In the second half, Skredsvik/Hogstorp Team 2 increased the tempo, and thanks in large part to Viktor Gustafsson's goal in the 50th minute, the team took a 2-0 lead. Christoffer Larsson's goal in the 62nd minute put even more pressure on Lysekils AIK Team 2.
Lysekils AIK Team 2 refused to give up and finally managed to score their first goal in the 75th minute through Mohamed Nesradin Saleh. With just ten minutes left in the match, Saleh once again found the net for Lysekils AIK Team 2, bringing the score to 3-2 for Skredsvik/Hogstorp Team 2, making the match very exciting. However, Skredsvik/Hogstorp Team 2 ultimately managed to maintain their lead and secured the victory.
After the match, Skredsvik/Hogstorp Team 2 remains in 8th place in the table while Lysekils AIK Team 2 is still in 5th place. Both teams displayed good form and a fierce battle. This bodes well for their future matches in Division 7 Bohuslän.
