Simonstorps IF B dominated Grytgöls IK in Sunday’s match at Bollspelaren. The match started quickly, and after just two minutes, Simonstorps took the lead through Leonardo Paz, who received a pass from Patrik Barman. Fifteen minutes later, Patrik himself extended the lead to 2-0 with a fine shot.

Grytgöl fought their way into the match, and after 24 minutes, Ulrik Svensson managed to reduce the score to 2-1 following a good collaboration with his forwards. However, Simonstorps continued to apply pressure, and Grytgöl struggled to keep up. Andrew Hellström and Fredrik Hurtig were cautioned in quick succession, indicating that the match had its share of heated moments on the field.

But Simonstorps remained the stronger team, and before halftime, Peder Delfalk increased the lead to 3-1. After Fredrik Hurtig's sending-off for Grytgöl, Simonstorps had one more player on the field and were able to take advantage of that. Leonardo Paz scored his second goal of the match, making it 4-1 after 67 minutes.

The remainder of the match was a showcase from Simonstorps' side. Ludwig Elvhage scored his first goal of the season with a well-placed touch from a cross by David Henrysson. Teo Perlman nailed the final coffin in the match when he tapped in 6-1 after a fine dribble into the penalty area.

The match was over, and Simonstorps IF B won convincingly with a score of 6-1. The attendance was only eight people, but that didn’t stop the players from providing an entertaining football match for those present. Referee Wisam Al-Ezzi managed to maintain control of the game despite some tough duels and brief stoppages. We’ll see what happens in the next round of Division 7 Östergötland North for men.
