It was a sunny Sunday afternoon when Borensbergs IF FK C faced Fornåsa IF B at Bergvallen in Division 7 Östergötland West. In front of an audience of only 35 people, referee Anders Palmér blew the whistle to start the match.
It didn't take long for the home team to take the lead. In the thirteenth minute, Martin Ström received the ball at the corner flag and managed to deliver a perfect shot that sailed into the goal. A classic corner goal that gave Borensberg a 1-0 lead.

But just before halftime, Fornåsa managed to score a goal. Adel Osman Mahamed found a gap in Borensberg's defense and managed to shoot the ball into the net, making it 2-1 for Borensberg at halftime.
In the second half, Borensberg took over again, and Marcus Lindblom got the chance to score his second goal of the day when he was awarded a penalty. He made no mistakes and extended the home team's lead to 3-1.
Just a few minutes later, Rasmus Bryntse made it 4-1 for Borensberg, and the match seemed decided. However, Fornåsa kept fighting, and in the seventy-first minute, Andreas Johansson managed to reduce the score to 4-2.
But it was too late, and the match ended 4-2 in favor of Borensbergs IF FK C. A well-deserved victory for the home team, who impressed with their play. Fornåsa, on the other hand, has some work to do before their next match.
