No one could have predicted that the match between Björkviks IF and Vadsbro IF would be so thrilling. Even though there were no spectators present at Björkviksvallen, the teams delivered an authentic goal fest.
Already in the eighth minute, Amirhossein Rezaei received a yellow card for Vadsbro IF. Just eleven minutes later, the team scored their first goal thanks to Vahab Ahmadi. Björkviks IF tried to find their footing in the match, but 28 minutes in, John Boman received a yellow card for the home team.
While the home fans were left wondering what was happening, Vadsbro IF moved on to score another goal, again courtesy of Ahmadi. Björkviks did not want to give up, and just before the halftime whistle, Robin Jonsson scored an equalizer from a corner kick, giving Björkvik a boost forward.
The second half started with Jawid Karimi from Vadsbro IF receiving a yellow card. However, Björkviks pushed to catch up, and Robin Jonsson tried to deliver a ball that unfortunately sailed over. But Vadsbro IF held on, and Ahmadi completed his hat trick in the 61st minute.
Björkvik, however, did not give up, and Lhiam Karlsson added to his score with his second goal of the match just five minutes later. Yet, despite Björkviks IF battling until the end, Ali Mehrabi managed to score the match's final goal, and Vadsbro IF emerged victorious with a score of 4-3.
No team can say they did not fight hard or come close to winning the battle. But as with all competitions, there can only be one winner. Vadsbro IF can proudly boast a much-needed victory in this match.
