It was a truly eventful match at Södervik 1 when FC Väsby Akademiska hosted FC Sampierdarenese. After a goalless first half, the second half kicked off with a bang as FC Sampierdarenese scored the match's first goal just one minute in. It was Leo Cajander who tapped the ball into the net and gave the away team the lead.
However, FC Väsby Akademiska responded immediately through Younes Ben Ali, who made his way down the right flank and perfectly placed the ball into the goalkeeper's left corner. Just a few minutes later, it was time again for FC Väsby Akademiska as Walid Atta stylishly slotted the ball into the net, giving the home team a 2-0 lead.
But FC Sampierdarenese did not give up and fought their way back into the match. Emil Brynolfsson reduced the score to 2-1 before Enrico Cardoso Nazare equalized just before the half-hour mark. Before halftime, however, FC Väsby Akademiska managed to take the lead again, with Younes Ben Ali scoring his second goal of the match.
The second half continued at a high tempo, and FC Sampierdarenese once again equalized through Enrico Cardoso Nazare after a nice attack. But once again, FC Väsby Akademiska responded immediately, and it was Younes Ben Ali who scored again, giving the home team a 4-3 lead. FC Väsby Akademiska continued to press but also received two yellow cards during the last twenty minutes of the match.
FC Sampierdarenese kept fighting and earned a much-needed point when Ludvig Webrink was fouled in the penalty area, and the referee awarded a penalty kick. However, the penalty was saved by FC Väsby Akademiska's goalkeeper, and the match ended 4-4.
An entertaining match that featured six goals and several fine performances from both teams. Younes Ben Ali was undoubtedly the player of the match with his hat-trick for FC Väsby Akademiska.
