It was a rather uneventful match as Kronobergs BK hosted Westermalms IF FK at Stadshagens IP 1 in Division 7 Stockholm B, on a Saturday afternoon in September. With a crowd of zero spectators and referee Hossein Yazdani officiating, expectations were accordingly low.
Right from the start, Kronoberg showed signs of hard play, receiving two yellow cards, one to Björn Alexander Marklund and one to Aleksi Ojala, immediately after kickoff. However, Westermalms IF FK took the lead after sixteen minutes when Pontus Lambrant managed to place the ball into the net.
