IK Sture took an early lead when Dennis Persson scored a penalty in the 12th minute. However, Boo SK quickly responded and equalized through Mattias Näsholm in the 25th minute. Just two minutes later, Boo SK took the lead when Patrick Dinan found the back of the net.

Boo SK's Sherjeel Ton was shown a red card after a tackle in the 41st minute. IK Sture continued to fight and managed to equalize through Dion Drake Haggart in the 58th minute.
