Söderorts IF faced Sorunda IF in an exciting match in Division 7 Stockholm F. Despite good conditions from both teams on a sunny Saturday afternoon, it was Sorunda who took home the victory with a resounding 7-0.
Already in the 32nd minute, Sorunda took the lead through Pontus Söderman. Söderorts tried to respond to the challenge and attempted to create chances, but Sorunda held firm and scored two more goals before halftime.
In the second half, Sorunda continued to dominate the match. Hampus Brandt scored the fourth goal in the 78th minute, and three minutes later it was Ture Larsson’s turn to score the fifth goal.
20-year-old Pontus Landeborn was also crucial on the field today, scoring both the sixth and seventh goals for Sorunda in the 82nd and 86th minutes, respectively.
It was a well-played match from Sorunda’s side, while Söderorts IF had to head home without any points. The audience was not particularly large today, but the clash turned out to be an exciting duel between two strong opponents. Mohammadreza Mojalal did an excellent job as the referee on the field.
