Sorunda IF and Tyresö Strand FC met at Sunnerby IP 1 in a Division 7 Stockholm F match on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The arena was filled with 80 enthusiastic spectators, and the match was officiated by Catalin Manea.
It didn't take long for Sorunda IF to get on the scoreboard as Henrik Sundström netted the first goal in the 9th minute, much to the delight of the home fans. Tyresö Strand FC tried to fight back, but they couldn't find a way through the resilient Sorunda defense.
In the 14th minute, Pontus Söderman doubled the lead for Sorunda with a brilliant strike that left the Tyresö goalkeeper with no chance. Things went from bad to worse for Tyresö when Simon Asp scored from the penalty spot in the 24th minute, making it 3-0 for Sorunda.
As the game progressed, tempers began to flare, and the referee had to hand out a yellow card to Tyresö's Jonas Söderlilja in the 26th minute. Sorunda's Pontus Landeborn also received a yellow card in the 42nd minute.
The second half saw more of the same as Sorunda dominated possession and continued to create chances. Tyresö's Anton Andersson received a caution in the 69th minute, and shortly after, Sorunda's Patrik Johnsson found the back of the net from a free-kick, making it 4-0 for Sorunda.
In the end, it was a comfortable win for Sorunda IF, who showed their class and dominance throughout the match. They will surely be looking to build on this performance as they look to climb up the table in the Division 7 Stockholm F league.
