It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Västberga IP 1 when Gröndals IK faced Polonia Falcons FF in a Division 7 match. Unfortunately, the spectators were not present to witness the game due to the ongoing pandemic situation. Referee Hassan Hassan blew the whistle to start the match, and Polonia Falcons FF quickly took control of the game. They began to attack offensively, and just six minutes in, they had a dangerous free-kick situation that they unfortunately could not capitalize on. However, their efforts would soon be rewarded when Kamil Marcin Niedrygos received a nice pass from Dawid Olejniczak and was able to slot the ball into the net after 10 minutes of play.
Gröndals IK tried to respond but struggled to push back Polonia Falcons FF. Instead, they were forced to take a couple of yellow cards as their frustration took over. First, Miladin Racic received a yellow card for a tough tackle, and then Jack Seretis and Sebastian Tingberg each received a yellow card after trying to maintain pressure on the green-white offense.
The second half continued in a similar pattern. Gröndals IK had difficulty creating chances while Polonia Falcons FF remained dominant on the pitch. After a nice play switch, Dawid Olejniczak was given the opportunity to score his second goal and confidently placed the ball in the net after 57 minutes. Gröndals IK desperately tried to get a goal back but failed to execute any dangerous attacks. Instead, Polonia Falcons FF extended their lead with a nice solo effort from Lukasz Matusiak, who finished with a well-placed shot into the far corner with only 10 minutes left in the match.
The match ended 0-3 in favor of the visiting team, which solidified their second place in the standings. For Gröndals IK, it was a tough match, and they finished the season at the bottom of the table.
