Gimo IF FK 2 hosted Ullfors IK on Saturday at Gimo Artificial Grass. With 150 spectators in attendance and Sadigh Ahmadi as the referee, it was time for an exciting match in Division 7 Uppland North for the men.
The match started with a high tempo from the home team, and just 14 minutes into the game, Philip Alm scored his first goal, giving Gimo IF FK 2 an early lead. The second half continued at the same high pace. Jakob Levin from Ullfors IK received a yellow card after 55 minutes. Nicholas Fleming scored two goals in quick succession, extending the lead to a whopping seven goals for Gimo IF FK 2. However, Ullfors IK showed determination and managed to reduce the deficit with a header from Jakob Levin in the 58th minute.
Simon Sturesson from Ullfors IK received a yellow card after 62 minutes, and Marcus Karlsson from the home team got a yellow card after 66 minutes. Ullfors IK continued to fight and reduced the score further with two goals from Adam Sekulic in the 71st and 74th minutes. Gimo IF FK 2, however, maintained their pace, and Alm scored his fourth goal of the match in the 78th minute. Robert Sekulic from Ullfors IK received a yellow card after 79 minutes, and Fredrik Carlsson from the home team got a yellow card after 83 minutes. The match concluded with a goal from Adam Olsson in the 84th minute, bringing the final score to 9-3.
With the victory, Gimo IF FK 2 won the league, and Ullfors IK finished in second place in the standings. This thus concluded the season for both teams.
