An exciting and tightly contested match took place on Sunday evening at Lövviksvallen when Ämterviks FF U hosted IF Nyedshov U in Division 7 Värmland Nordöstra. Only 44 people made their way to the venue and looked forward to a tough encounter.
The match started evenly with both teams creating chances. After 20 minutes, the first yellow card was issued to Ämterviks FF U's Alexander Augustsson. Just a few minutes later, IF Nyedshov U took the lead through Sebastian Bohl. Ämterviks FF U fought to get back into the game and were rewarded before halftime with a goal from Patrik Söderwall, who equalized with a fine header.
The second half looked similar, with many close chances for both teams. Patrik Söderwall received his second yellow card after 66 minutes, and Ämterviks FF U's situation worsened when his teammate Alexander Augustsson also received his second yellow card and was consequently sent off just a few minutes later.
With one man less on the pitch, Ämterviks FF U did everything they could to secure at least one point, but IF Nyedshov U took advantage of their numerical superiority and decided the match with a goal from Villiam Lindborg in the 74th minute. The result held until the final whistle, and IF Nyedshov U could head home with three points from Lövviksvallen.
It was an exciting match with a lot of battling and tough play from both teams. Referee Tim Alsayed officiated well, handing out yellow cards and a red card when necessary. Despite the loss, Ämterviks FF U can take pride in having played a strong match, even though they were one man short in the second half.
