It was sunny and warm weather when IFK Ölme 2 faced Åtorps IF 2 at home on the Ölme IP A field. It was an important match for both teams in Division 7 Värmland Östra, men. Referee Yousef M M Aburoumi blew the whistle to start the match at 12:00 in front of an empty grandstand.
IFK Ölme 2 came out strong from the start and took control of the game. They pressured and kept the ball low against Åtorps IF 2's defensive line. However, IFK Ölme 2's Filip Lundgren was close to breaking the deadlock when he broke through from the right side and finished with a nice strike, but the ball went just wide of the goalpost.

The second half continued with a similar pattern of play. IFK Ölme 2 controlled the game and had the most ball possession, but Åtorps IF 2 kept all their players behind the ball and tried to counter with long balls. However, in the 72nd minute, IFK Ölme 2 had an opportunity following a nice attack. Joel Svensson found himself free on the left side and finished beautifully, making it 2-0 for the home team.
IFK Ölme 2 continued to extend their lead, and in the 75th minute Johan Rosén scored to make it 3-0 after a nice combination of several home team players. The game slowed down somewhat after the third goal, and IFK Ölme 2 maintained a solid defense that shut down Åtorps IF 2’s attempts to reduce the score.
The match ended 3-0 to IFK Ölme 2, who thus achieved an important victory in the hunt for a higher placement in Division 7 Värmland Östra, men. Åtorps IF 2 remains in their current position and will need to regroup ahead of their next match.
