FC Sporting Västerås achieved an impressive victory against Barkarö SK on Sunday afternoon at Apalby 2. In front of an audience of 35, Andreas Thorsén scored the opening goal for FC Sporting just ten minutes into the game, converting a penalty. Luljet Bunjaku of Barkarö SK also received a yellow card for a tough tackle in the same situation.

Only five minutes later, it was time for another goal. Tamit Tsehaye made it 2-0 for FC Sporting after a nice change of play. Viggo Stenholm from the home team then scored 3-0 after 39 minutes.

But just before halftime, Barkarö SK got a chance to get back into the match when Rasul Alasadi scored with a header, reducing the score to 3-1.

In the second half, Barkarö SK came closer and Shadi Ibrahim received a yellow card after a hard tackle. However, it was William Sjöberg who scored to make it 3-2 for the away team after 80 minutes. The pace of the match then increased, and Mohamed Abdi Hashi of Barkarö SK received his second yellow card and was sent off.

In the numerical disadvantage, Mauro Schiappacase of FC Sporting Västerås managed to score 4-2, ultimately securing the win for the home team. A great performance from the entire FC Sporting Västerås team and something to build on for Barkarö SK. In the next matchday, FC Sporting Västerås will play against Gideonsbergs IF, while Barkarö SK will face Hällbybrunns IF.
