In Saturday's match between Barkarö SK and Orresta IF at Skälby IP A, it was Orresta that took the lead after 26 minutes of play through Rasmus Wallenius. Just five minutes later, Alexander Stenberg extended Orresta's lead to 2-0, forcing Barkarö to come back into the game.
After a quiet first half, the second half was spiced up with several events. Orresta's Jesper Wallkulle received a yellow card in the 58th minute, and six minutes later, Victor Dackland was sent off with a red card. This dismissal would cost Orresta dearly.
Barkarö came alive again, and in the 64th minute, Luljet Bunjaku managed to reduce Orresta's lead to 2-1. The tension began to rise at Skälby IP A, and the crowd in the stands started singing for their team.
With only 15 minutes left in the match, Hajer Heidaripak equalized for Barkarö, resulting in a complete turnaround in the game. Orresta had previously held a comfortable lead, but after the red card, things became really tough for them.
The final 15 minutes of the match were truly exciting, but despite several chances for both teams, neither was able to score again. The match ended 2-2, and the crowd at Skälby IP A could breathe a sigh of relief after 90 minutes of intense football.
Referee Dmitri Khabarov earned great respect from the players on the field for his wise officiating, and the match passed without any serious incidents. Now, it remains to be seen how the teams will perform in Division 7 Västmanland Östra for the rest of the season.
