Hallsta FK Youth showcased an impressive performance at home when they faced Virsbo IF in Sunday’s match at Hallstahem Arena. The match, which was part of Division 7 Västmanland West for men, started at 5:00 PM in front of an audience of zero spectators, and the referee for the match was Roberto Delgado Gutierrez.
The match began strongly for Hallsta FK Youth, as they scored two goals within the first ten minutes through Qendrim Gashi and Joakim Skogman. Just one minute later, Virsbo IF's Johan Eriksson received the first yellow card of the match. While Hallsta FK Youth continued to threaten with several attempts to extend their lead, Virsbo IF fought hard. In the second half, Hallsta FK Youth maintained the same intensity and managed to extend their lead with a goal from Sardar Jamshidi in the 72nd minute. Just one minute later, the sixth yellow card of the match was issued when Elliott Engvall received one for Virsbo IF.
However, Virsbo IF refused to give up. They launched an incredible comeback, managing to score three consecutive goals in a short span of time. First, Oskar Ekman found the net in the 77th minute, followed by a penalty goal from Isac Stenström and a goal from Samuel Törnkvist in the 81st minute.
But it was ultimately Qendrim Gashi who decided the match for Hallsta FK Youth. He scored his second goal of the match from the penalty spot. Virsbo IF attempted to fight their way back into the game, but Hallsta FK Youth's defense stood strong and was able to thwart their offense. Fredrik Björkbacka received a yellow card for Virsbo IF, and Qendrim Gashi and Serdar Aslan from Hallsta FK Youth were also cautioned. The final score ended at 6-3 in favor of Hallsta FK Youth. Qendrim Gashi emerged as the hero of the match with a hat-trick, helping his team secure a vital victory.
