Brottby SK 2 went all out from the first minute at Rånäs IP 1 during Sunday’s match in Division 8 Uppland Östra. Just two minutes in, Leo Karlsson scored for Brottby, giving his team an early lead. Only a few minutes later, it was time for Brottby again as Robert Berger netted two quick goals, increasing the lead to 0-3. Before halftime, Tomas Bergqvist added two more goals, making it a commanding five-goal lead for Brottby.
In the second half, Rånäs IF 2 fought to make up for their deficit, but Brottby was still in top form and continued to find the back of the net. Tomas Bergqvist completed his hat trick with his third goal, extending Brottby’s lead to 0-6. Rånäs IF 2 managed a consolation goal when Johan Fastén put one in the net, but it was too late to turn the match around.
Robert Berger continued his fantastic play, scoring two additional goals for Brottby, bringing his total to three goals in the match. Martin Andersson also scored, increasing Brottby’s lead to 0-7, before Rånäs IF 2 got their second and final goal of the match. Hugo Remsu missed a penalty for Rånäs IF 2 at the end of the match, which concluded with a heavy loss for the home team. Brottby SK 2 won the match with an impressive 1-9 and took home three important points in the standings.
