Alsike IF 2 achieved an impressive 6-3 victory against IF Vesta in Division 8 Uppland Södra's men's match at Alsike Artificial Turf on Monday evening in front of an audience of 30 people.
It was Alsike who started the match strongest and took the lead through Dennis Jansson in the 13th minute. Lucas Högberg then extended the lead to 2-0 in the 18th minute, before scoring his second goal of the match in the 27th minute. Max Meijer reduced the deficit for IF Vesta to 3-1 in the 38th minute, but Alsike went into halftime with a two-goal lead.
IF Vesta came out strong in the second half, and Leo Martin Ståhl made it 3-2 in the 53rd minute. However, Alsike quickly responded with Sebastian Borgström scoring to make it 4-2 in the 62nd minute, followed by Dennis Jansson, who netted his second goal of the match to extend the lead to 5-2 in the 64th minute.
Max Meijer then received a yellow card for IF Vesta, and Gustav Lundin received a yellow card for Alsike IF 2. Kevin Marx Norén made it 6-2 for Alsike in the 88th minute before Rikard Meijer reduced the score for IF Vesta to 6-3 just before full time.
The match concluded with another yellow card for Alsike given to Sebastian Borgström. Alsike IF 2 demonstrated their class and took home the victory in this high-scoring match on their home ground in front of their supporters.
