Östersunds DFF met Växjö DFF in an exciting match in the Elitettan at Jämtkraft Arena in front of an audience of 224 people. The referee for the evening was Camilla Eriksson, assisted by Anna-Linnéa Löfgren and Patrik Holmblad.

The match started immediately with a goal for the home team as Sarah Storck found the net just two minutes in. However, Växjö DFF quickly responded with an equalizer from Lova Hansson in the 15th minute. Östersunds DFF then regained the lead through Sarah Storck again in the 32nd minute. Ritah Kivumbi managed to equalize for Växjö DFF in the 40th minute before Eyrún Gudmundsdóttir made it 3-2 just before halftime.

In the second half, Växjö DFF made several substitutions in an attempt to catch up in the match, but it was Östersunds DFF who increased their lead with Sarah Storck’s hat trick goal in the 89th minute. Despite a late goal from Växjö DFF by Ritah Kivumbi in the 90th minute, the away team could not come back to make it 4-3.

The match provided a lot of excitement and entertainment for the audience at Jämtkraft Arena. Östersunds DFF ultimately secured three points and climbed up the table, while Växjö DFF can take pride in their fighting effort despite the loss.
